First and foremost I would like to start by introducing myself, for those of you who don't know me my name is Marlon Trujillo. I was born in a small country in Central America known as El Salvador. Both my mother and I immigrated to Los Angeles in 1981 during the war, I was a little over a year old when we arrived in Southern California. I grew up in East Los Angeles, although we did live in the Pico/Union area for a while when we first arrived in Los Angeles. As a kid I attended Malabar Elementary School up until 3rd grade which is when my family decided to move to City Terrace where I currently reside now. I also attended Robert F. Kennedy Elementary, and once I conquered the Elementary scene I moved on to Belvedere Jr. High were I spent 2 awesome years learning about what it's like to grow up through puberty! Haha... I graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Lincoln Heights, shoutout to all my class of 98 peeps! In 2001 I moved to Utah to continue my education and were I lived for 6 years before moving back to LA in early 2007. My passion for photography has always been there but it has blossomed more and more over the past 3 years I am by no means a professional nor did I ever major in photography and I have never taken any formal classes, I am self taught with a little guidance from as few friends like Danny AKA Mr. DigitalHorizon himself! I am blessed with having a wonderful family who not only push me to be better in everything I do but who also understand that the road that lies ahead of us is never paved perfectly. Truth be told I am just a guy who loves capturing life in it's most purest moments. So a big thank you goes out to everyone who takes the time out of there busy day to stop by and visit my site... - Marlon Rene Trujillo |
